My 2ES has the Light Bulb Malfunction light on yet I do not see any lights out anywhere. It doesnt come on till you apple the brake to get out of park, so is there a short in the tail light assembly somewhere? Any suggestions?

 

Did you check the brake lights behind the rear wondshield?

 

^^ya thats what i m guessing too..Let some one depress the brake pedal and check all lights including 3rd brake light.

 

I swear I answered this before haha...

Take out each bulb, clean its contacts, and replace. Should fix it right up. Generally its the 3rd brake that causes it so just take a normal 9v battery to the +/- to light up the bulb to check them

 

I dont swear but your right. I looked at the bulbs and they seem ok but I will try cleaning them anyway.

 

I kept thinking the same thing for mine until my mechanic said it's the third brake light. As soon as we replaced with some new bulbs, indication light turned off.
