I own a Lexues ES 300 1994 196xxx miles. I recently changed the knock sensors and transmission solenoids and it ran great for a while. Recently the car would run GREAT on the highway but would cut off in the city (stop and go). The car would cut off but start back up. Recently if has not started back up. Everyday is different. So if anyone has any ideas please help. Thank you in advance....

 

Hmm, maybe start with the battery? And then check the level of your accelerator cable idle point. Both of these can cut the car off when reaching idle.

 

The 1st thing I did was change the battery.

 

As far as the accelerator cable idle point, would you have and image of it??
