I bought springs and shocks for around $400-500 total and had a local shop put them on to get a drop of about 1 1/2 inch. I like the lowered stance of the ES300 as I don't like the "grandma's car" look of it factory. Keep in mind that a proper coilover job is a much better one as this setup does tend to bottom out if I go over speedbumps too fast or hit dips or potholes. Overall though, I'm satisfied with the stance, look, and feel of the car. I do intend to upgrade to coilovers within the next year.

Please keep in mind that lowering on springs alone will shorten the lift of the shock a bit. Just another reason to get coils and keep your stock set up
