Hey guys I originally posted something similar in the audio section but I've got more info now and thought it may be better here

here is what the symptom is
vsc . Trac off . And cel light are on

this happened after hooking up my PAC swi ps

I think I caused this issue by reading the diagrAm wrong and accidentally mistook the speed sensor wire for the steering control wires

essentially I think I may have shorted the wire or sensor

I've tried disconnecting battery to clear the code but didn't clear

the code is p0500 speed sensor

my question is how will this effect my car and is there a way to diagnose if the sensor is bad or the wiring?

I'm considering hooking up the vss to my speed sensor wire to see if this would be a good step or not?

Any help would be appreciated as well as I'm not sure the locAtion of speed sensor or if there are any retAilers that may sell this at a more reasonable price
