I have a clunking sound coming from the front end of my 2004 ES-330. Its been going on now for about 6-months. Car has 50K miles on it. I had the front end aligned about a year ago at Lexus. Is it the shock tower bushings/bearings worn out or ? Could it be the sway arm bushings are worn out. The clunking sound is really more an annoyance then anything. Is this something I can fix or change out myself ? I do all my own maintenance on my car.

Clunking sound is when ever I go over any kind of bumps, holes in the road. Small or big does not matter.

Jack the car up, and shake down the suspension. Could be struts/mounts, ball joints, control arm bushings, sway bar bushings, sway bar links...
