Default Car not starting right

So one day I tried to turn on my car and it failed. Kept making sparking noises and my friends said they saw sparks near my engine when I was trying to turn it on. Also when I pushed my breaks my car radio turned off. And when I slammed my door the radio turned back on. The interior lights are clicky and the headlights are not responding right away when I turn it on, it lags a bit. Could it be that my cables to the battery are loose? I also checked the water level of my battery and it was really low, but I added distiller water til half an inch from top and then had my car jump started and I drove for around 30 minutes to try to charge my battery because I thought it couldn't hold a charge since there was no water. But the next day I tried to start the car again it wouldn't start. What could be the problem? I'm pretty sure it's not a dead battery I've only had it for two years and it's a 7 year warranty. My car is a 2000 ES300. I'm thinking loose battery cables and not the starter right? Hopefully help!

where exactly did they see sparks in the engine bay? the whole radio turning on and off is something wild that could be an interior wiring issue.

Around the starter. But I think I got it to work fine now. It was just the water level problem. After I added the distiller water in the battery I just needed to give it a good drive to power up all the electrolytes so that the battery can hold a charge. I still don't know why the radio was being trippy tho but at least it's working find
