H&R vs Tanabe springs
im trying to figure out which will look better on my car. i ordered new kyb struts but now i need lowering springs.. the front sits higher so i was wondering if the H&R springs will look ok because they only drop the car 1inch in front and back and the Tanabe do the front 1.8 and rear 1. which set up do you guys recommend? the car now is sitting on 225/40/18 in front and 235/40/18s in rear.

Tanabe has the df210 springs that will fit your car with spring rates that are more specific to your car than the tein solara springs.

I was always running stock wheels. you shouldn't be too low on them where you will bottom out. the only time you will bottom out is when you either have too many people in the car or when the shocks start wearing down. My only gripe with the shock/spring combo is just that - even with aftermarket shocks, the shocks can't handle anything more than a one inch drop or so. You will feel the shocks bottom out when you go over a big bump or hit a big dip in the road. Other than that, it's not bad at all.
