i dunno i kind of trust bosch more than i do Aisin

Why is that? Bosch is generally well regarded on European cars, but not so much on Japanese for some reason. You don't see too many Lexus owners using Bosch spark plugs or starters

As I said before, your water pump and transmission are made by Aisin so that speaks for itself (unless they've broken down on you) Toyota has been using Aisin as an OEM supplier since forever.

But it's up to you. If you feel more confident with the Bosch then go for it. Proper maintenance matters more than the brand you select most of the time as long as they're reputable.

i do have to agree with you, i put bosch plugs on my moms yukon and it ran like sheet terrible, then i switched to some champions and it ran like a dream. if i wont go with bosch might as well go with a A1-Cardone thats only like 36 bucks i think

Wow, thanks, D-Boi. Always nice to save a few bucks. I'd say change the actuator. Why skimp on a part that could destroy not only your belts, pulleys and water pump you've just installed, but could endanger your life by causing an accident on the freeway if the timing belt unexpectedly failed.
