2002 ES300 cup holder R & R
I am trying to replace the broken retractable cup holder in my wife's 02 ES300. It has the Mark Levenson audio system with the CD changer in the center console. My access to the supposed two bolts at the bottom of the rear part of the console are blocked. Am I on the right track or has some one had experience with changing the cup holder who can set me straight?

Alright, Im not good with writing up these DIY things, But here goes nothing.
First, Start by setting the parking brake, Turn the key to the "on" position and move the gear selector into "N". Pull up on the shifter trim bezzel to remove. Once removed, unplug the electrical connections for the cig lighter, and Rear power sunshade if equipped.
Once removed, Remove the two small Phillips screws as shown below:
Next remove the small pieces of felt/carpet at the bottom of the center console, and up on top to reveal the two 10mm bolts in the bottom, and the two phillips screws up top. Remove the screws and bolts:
Once all bolts and screws are removed, You should be able to pull the entire console up and back to gain access under the cupholder:
To reinstall, just move in reverse order. Let me know if you have any questions.
Total job only takes about 15-25 minutes, depending on your skill level.
