Need advice!
Hello all,
I just purchased a 99 SC300 and the ignition key is all messed up. It is a master key with the remote, but it does not work because it was obviously broken and then glued back together with a spare key inside.
The person I bought it from gave me another master key, obviously to another lexus, that has a shorther key, but the remote looks the same.
My question is, can I use the other key remote, not the actual metal key, to program to my car? My plan is to program the other key remote to the car and use the ignition key for starting.
Any ideas/advice are welcome.
If you know, what is the process to program the remote....the car did not come with a users guide.
