Default Cruise Control Not Working

The Cruise Control on my 93 ES has stopped working. When I hit the button the light comes on and it doesnt flash or anything but when I hold the lever down to engage the cruise it will not set. I did a quick search didnt really find anything, anyone know what might be the problem? Im going to check it to tommorrow to make sure everything looks ok but right now its too dark.

My was low on brake fluid!!
There is a sensor inside the master cylinder. My level was above the minimum mark but it was low enough.

Damn forgot to reply to this. I figured out the problem I was getting my clutch adjusted and the person that did forgot to lock off the clutch after the adjustment. So I think the fact it wasnt locked was causing it not to engage. But after locking it off it works fine.
