Default Headlights and Clear Corner lights for 97 ES

Thinking about replacing the corner lights with the clear ones fom ebay. I get water in my drivers side corner light and it keeps blowing the bulb out.

DO the clear look ok? Is it cheap looking? I need some opinions..

Also was thinking of replacing headlights on my 97 ES. They are really old and oxidized. I've seen some on ebay and are they a direct swap? Dos the bumper have to come off? Finally, do i need to mess with the leveling at all with new lights..

Is it just plug and play..

I'd really like to do this at least start with the corners..

Thanks

Tony

I have seen many pics of the clear ones, and they look fine. And from what i hear/read they do not fit 100% like the OEM ones, but they are okay, unless you are super picky don't get them, if you can live with little gap then go ahead.

**i do not own a set, this is just general consensus**

For the headlights, yes, you will more than likely have to adjust them up after install...

I put in my HID's and they required an adjustment, after having removed the light itself. The brackets have no room to play with it goes in one way, but then again finding a 'flat' [or close to it] surface with a wall is harder than the adjustment portion... It takes seconds to do. DO NOT use the driveway! lol they are always sloped.

Best of luck!

the ebay coners look fine This thread has some pics of them so you can check them out.

as long as the headlights say there for a 97 they will fit, and the bumper dose not have to be removed, only a few screws/bolts.

leveling is easy and only take a few minutes and a screwdriver.

well the clear corner on ebay are no 100% fit more like 90% - 95% fit. it has a little gap.
do they look cheap? To me not really that cheap to me, BUT the rubber part that goes around the light seems a little cheap to me.

Well as long as the level bubble is in the middle it should be fine right? Seems like a easy DIY

Thanks for the comments guys.. The clear corners don't look bad at all..

Yep. If anything, look into the manual... If i recall it tells you exactly where it should be at.
