umm... first post... cool....
[takes a breath lol]
hi natedogg, welcome to the forum. make sure to check out theforum rules and a big rule on forums is to do a search first to find what you're saying. this stops the place from cluttering up with repeated questions and stops the 'pros' on the board from getting bored and/or annoyed.
im a little concerned that you're working on the car and can't find the strut mount. that extremely scary, actually.
so, first, i would recommend you be very careful and follow a manual or have a buddy with expertise help you. you can get really hurt if you do it wrong.
secondly, the strut mount is visible only after you take the seat out. first the bottom part [pull up, no tools needed] then the top /seatback is removed [two bolts 12mm i think] , and then you have good enough access to the strut mount nuts. then when you take the strut suspension assembly out the mount , at the top, is removed but only with a safe, coil spring compressor on the springs and so on and so forth.
what strusts you going with? what springs? do a search, you will see what many likemyself have learned is the best parts to use [all stock, except the struts, and =depending on what youre doing - the coils]
i have done a write up or two.
the FSM [factory service manual] is on the internet , you find it you can download it for free. you might benefit from a hayne's manual or similar, too [camry].

Haha, easy Coolpass . Good info though. I'll try to do a DIY thread when my KYB struts and Tein springs come in to help future instances

DO NOT disasemble the strut without a spring compresor or you are going to kill yourself or lose an eye (if you are lucky).
