Default es330 electrical problem

My 2005 Lexus es330 has two (related?) electrical problems.
1. The trunk opener inside the car does not operate. The key opens the trunk. The switch is OK (checked with an ohm meter). I checked ALL the fuses under dash and under hood.

2. The automatic seat settings do not operate. The power seats operate properly.

I suspect that a relay under the hood may be the culprit, but the markings on fuses and relays are criptic. Any and all ideas re: the problem would be appreciated. Martin Behannesey

1) Press the Trunk lock-out button in the glove box.

2) Are you properly programming the seats?

Cane, my friends call me Marty.
The lock out switch did the trick for the trunk release.
I did not program th seats properly after removing fuses and checking them, the memory setting was lost.
BOTH problems are solved.
Thanks a bunch.
