Es300 2000 trac control light on an ck engine light P0420 code?

I have a es300 2000 lexus i need to know what does the P0420 code means is it a fail caty converter an where can i purchase one economiclly price...?

Owch.. I had the same problem as you.. I found a cat w/ header for 120. don't know how much it they go for though.
