Thumbs up New lexus owner

bought my first lexus couple days ago. '98 Lexus ES300 (one owner) with 85K miles. I must have looked at 8-9 before i choose this one. It's in great condition other then a few scratches here and there. I got a few service records with car but was told timing belt was not ever done. First thing i will do is drain/fill tranny and get an oil change. I peaked at timing belt and it looked fine. I'll have to save up for this.....Anything else i should be looking at doing soon?

Looks nice welcome to CL. Nice looking original floor mats I wish I had some that looked that nice. Are those heated seats I see as well?

yes, it has heated seats...however, I would trade that for a cd changer.

That was a good deal. I just paid $8000 for a 1999 Coach Edition w/ 60k miles on it.

When are you going to post the DIY? It would be really appreciated... I've always wanted to add an AUX to the factory stereo

Welcome to Club Lexus and congratulations on getting a 1998 ES 300. Your engine bay looks very clean. Take good care of her and she'll take good care of you. Happy driving...

thanks for the warm welcome. Today, i went ahead and had the tranny oil drained and filled. the guy at the local shop i go to was nice enough to drain it once and then fill/drain again to get more of the dirty fluid out. I still can't believe how smooth this car rides!
