Default Battery replacement

Hello all,
I have a 2003 es300 and it needs a new battery soon. Any recommendations, and will I need to be aware of any alarm problems or fob issues when I hook up the new one? Do I need to reset the alarm somehow?
Thanx,
Mike

Generally, all you have to do is reset your radio station presets & also the clock.

I have never replaced the battery on my ES, but I have however replaced the battery on my step-dad's LS430. His alarm went off relentlessly as soon as I touched the (-) cable the battery. We had to call the dealer and find out what was going on. If I remember correctly, we had to put the key in the ignition before we finished connecting the battery. I may be wrong though, but I do remember having to do something to that effect to keep the alarm from blaring. Good luck, maybe someone else can add more info.

You should have NO problems with the alarm. Read my above post concerning what has to be reset after removing the battery or unhooking the terminal ends.
