My G2 ES 300 DYI
Did the following myself. LED dashboard, replace needles, antenna, pearl emblems, smoked tail light from the inside through oven method. Got HID kit Phillip ballast. Got new 2006 GS rims w/ new Lexus stock Yokohama tires included. Just got the Japanese license plate.
Don't want to drop height due to wife and kids. Rear tires are so big that rub right now even after fender rolling only when I have rear passenger(s). Once they go bald, I'll get thinner tires, such as 215/40/17 to close match old ES stock 15" rims.
Don't want to tint b/c all the Lexus in SoCal are tinted, so I'll skip. This car has been parked outside every day for the past 10 years. No Zano wax yet even though I've owned the bar for 5 years now.

Pearl Emblem on passenger side. 2006 GS 17" rims and brand new GS stock tires. Rim is dirty as you can see a spot. No car wash for almost a month. I just wipe the mildew from the hood in the morning while the car is warm up since January of this year. Car has been parked outside for the past 10 years.

Tail light smoked from the inside through the oven method; removed the orange diffuser. 
No fog inside tail lights since I live in Socal. If I were to live in the snowy area, I probably wouldn't dare to tint using the oven method as it was my first time doing it. Good seal is important.

Took me a long time to do these black pearl emblems. Scraped all the old glue off. Paper sanded all emblems. Good primer coatingS. Many glossy black coats. Many clear coats on top. Here is another pix during sunset.

LED dashboard with replaced needles from another old Lexus. I ordered the LED strips for the needles. I was going to build entire dashboard like Lextech, but never got to it. Still have the old dashboard and Lextech LED strips for soldering. heh heh heh Probably will never get to it.

Tinted tail light during day time. Don't recommend this to all b/c it can surely impose danger as safety definitely has been compromised. 
FYI.
It will be difficult for me to remove the paint, and I'm not sure if I want to cook my tail lights again. Seal may not be as good as it is after another round.
I always drive w/ my lights on for 2 purposes. (1) Try to make it appear less tinted so that I won't get a ticket as it is not legal in CA. (2) Protect the poor-design LED needles to whatever remaining life they have left.

17" GS rims with directional tire, V rated Yokahama and black ES 300 emblem. I didn't have to use space for the front, but for the rears, I have to use 10mm space to prevent rubbing against the strut. Still rub after fender rolling as the GS tires are too big, I think. Even though the rims has 45 offset like my old 15" ones, still rub. Yikes.
