Default Foglight removal............00 ES....

Any 00 ES300 peeps take out their fogs yet to either replace bulbs or add HIDs to it. If so can you tell me how to access it. I kind of looked under the car really fast to see if I can go that route or do I have to go top side? Can some one chime in and let me know. I'm surprised there's no diy on it.

TIA,

It should be roughly the same with this thread:

PS: DO NOT put HID's in your fogs. Thank You for caring about other drivers on the road.

Hey thanks JSM, very helpful now I can work on my wifes fogs this weekend. Sorry but I'm going to test the waters and see just how bright and blinding the fogs will be with HID's in them. I already bought the kit so I have to test it out I want yellow fogs kind of an obsession for me. All my cars had/have them. But of course my audi has projectors. If not I'll have to sell the kit and put white leds in there instead.

Agreed with not putting HIDs in the fog lights. I've seen a few SUVs on the roads with HID fogs, and it's a complete freakin' eyesore

hey guys hows it going, let me put my flame suit on... i installed some 3000K HID's into my fogs about a month ago and it doesnt seem that bad and when u park up by a wall it looks like theres a cut-off line so the beams dont shine up that high, friends and family that i've followed in the lex havent complained at all and i love how it looks, also i believe the bigger problem lies in those cars taht dont have a cutoff line or anything now those cars do blind you just mho

Those foglights don't look too yellow or is it just the pic? They look way too bright unless you used them alone with the parking lamps(theres a diy i think?). More like driving lights really.

they are really yellow actually, but the picture is horrible and in that picturre the stock HID's are on just the color is really washed out due to the flash and white balance settings on my cam, ill snap a pic oor 2 on the weekend if we get some nice weather
