If i got some OEM SC430 wheels what tires would i need for them? Also would they fit without spacers or anything?

I thought you needed a 5mm in the rear to clear the rotors but its been a while since i've heard much about those rims.

i dont think its the rotors, im almost 100% positive its for strut clearance. because sc's are rwd, thus meaning more backspacing(a lot more usually) than what fwd cars(like ours) have. you should be ok with a 225/40/18, but if you want to play it safe, then go with 215/40/18. and you will need some spacers. approximately 3-5mm.

btw, more specs on your suspension setup may be a little better for us to help decide what will work/not work better

From personal experience, a 3-5mm spacer is needed in the rear for strut clearance like Charley said. Go with 235 or lower to avoid rubbing. I had 245's and there was rubbing.

The car will be dropped someday...what difference will it make on tire size?

When you drop a car, you get camber which helps if you're fitting wheels. I doubt you're going to drop your car low enough unless you get coilovers so you shouldn't worry about it. Just get 225 to be safe.

I don't remember where I read about them clearing the rotors but here is some other CL members experience with sc430 rims.
