Goodbye to my baby...ES wrecked.
I was on the way home from work last night and was waiting at a red light. Out of nowhere I hear a loud bang and next thing I know, my air bags deployed.
turns out some guy in a ford expedition was going like 70mph on the feeder road when he hit my car. since my car is slammed on coilovers, it acted pretty much like a ramp. The expedition hit my rear, grinded my passenger side pillars/roof, flipped, and landed on my hood. He took out 6 other cars in the process and myself and the car next to me took most of the damage.
the lady next to me was in a honda civic and her car was trashed beyond mine. she had to be transported to the hospital. I walked away with just scratches on my hand from the airbag. I'm one lucky ****. After 8 years and 160k miles, she is finally gone

Dyaaaauuum. That must have been an aweful way to see if your air bags worked.

That is absolutely tragic!Very sorry to see such a nice ES wrecked - you must be shattered.
I really feel your pain - she was a beauty.
Glad you were not injured though.
I hope you can ease the pain by finding a suitable replacement!

MAN! what a crazy wreck. Your ES looks so damn sweet too.
As many have already said, good to hear you made it out of there without any bodily harm. Yeah I switched my old Accord for an ES for some extra safety, and its good to know that it's there.
Must have been some experience, Did you see any of it happen or was it too quick to see?
Salvage any parts you can and get another ES!!

OH THE HORROR!
I'm so glad you weren't seriously injured.
It does appear that the safety cage was maintained. She gave her life protecting you, man. That's should make all current owners feel better.
And it might even sell PlatES300 another Lexus.
