Cool

It should run low-mid 16s unless you're rolling non-stock wheels & audio equipment, etc.

http://www.toyotatuners.com/forum/sh...hlight=0-60mph

Like that, but the ES is slightly heavier & slower than a Camry. I think I did an ES thread, but can't find it.

im sure i could have ran maybe high 16s if i practiced some more, but it feels very sluggish and heavy, my next cars gonna be some type of sports car, i cant take this loose feeling of the lexus, i need something tight. A friend of mine had a 04 porsche boxter i was looking at, i might consider it....

boxter isnt too fast, but for what i can afford now its not too bad, i just dont like the loose feeling of the es anymore, i need something more sporty around 15-25k new or used, any suggestions Pheonix?

Whats 550 on ebay that would make my es beat the boxter?

I'd pick up a 350Z with the 6spd tranny......full leather, bose audio, and brembo brake package and I'd be more than satisfied. Doesn't take much to differentiate it from a stock appearance, and is a blast to drive as it is....not to mention, it will smoke a boxster.

Did someone call me?

What is the recommended purchase, or purchases, for $550 on eBay to make his next run down the quarter mile more rapid and "tight"?

(I know mine feels like a bank vault now...)

The Z is a nice item in the price range, but it's all gears and no ***** out of the box. I would look at a turbo touring sedan: audi or wrx. This way you aren't dumping more than a few grand to give it 230 to 300 HP...

supra seems ok but any supra i get will most likely be high mileage and will need work, Z seems more like a car i would get.

yeah, but even a high mileage supra would eat a Z. BPU'd supra's still send turbo / S/C kitted 350z's running home.
idk. id have to think about it if i had 15-20 grand to blow.

A Z will beat the absolute **** out of an Audi turbo out of the Box....287HP is not *****? Thing does 0-60 in well under 6 seconds.....I must be missing something

Cool

How do you put this correctly... The new Z's respond well to modifications on a dyno, but don't on a track.
They tend to run alittle slow for the power levels, even under FI.
