So I finally got around to putting a system in the car, and am having some trouble with the lights dimming. I plan on upgrading the big 3 this weekend (I should've done it a while ago...), but I also want to upgrade the alternator. Does the highlander 130 amp fit the 98s as well? Or is there a better option out there?

Oh and there will be plenty of pictures as soon as the system is finished, now it's just a temporary sub, but I have an elemental designs 13av2 ordered and am currently building a new box and amp rack.

Yes it will fit, just check all grounds and cables for corrosion and clean them.

Make sure you get the wiring harness with the 130amp alternator. I didn't with mine and had to modify a harness from a Kia Rio to fit in my application.

I'm replacing all the cables and grounds with 4 gauge wires this weekend, so that should all be good.
