Tapping noise in my head?
Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem? My 95 es300 has a tapping noise in tha head, i use to own a Talon and with those it was the lifters, just wondering what causes it wit tha es's?

My 97 does tap so often as well, is this hard to adjust myself,
how much would I be looking at to have someone adjust them for me?

Its pretty labor-intensive so youre looking at a lot of labor cuz the intake plenum and valve covers need to be removed, and it is very technincal so someone with not a lot of experience should not do it. Im a tech myself and im going to attempt adjusting the valves on my 92, change valve cover gaskets and tube seals, and throw in some Denso iridium plugs, and Ill need 2 days to finsh it so I know its right but I am alittle nervous, never done anything like this before

As far as problems relating to the tick, im really not sure, some guys say yes and some guys say no, but you know what? My 92 ES300 has tapped since I got her with 58K and now has 100K but has never seen 7000 RPM. Get a factory service manual if you wanna do it yourself
