Talking Custom Lip Project (56K warning!!!)

I found a spare lip from a another car and i'm thinking about using it. The lip is missing about 4 inches on each side, but the over all shape fits pretty well. Of course i'll have to extend it and do a lot of other work before i can get it to look right. I'll probably paint it a flat black since its plastic and any other color paint will probably crack.
But so far what do u guys think.

Heres a little photoshop i did with the exclusive lip :

i'm worried of cracking the exclusive lip espically if its painted. the roads in colorado suck. plus i can't really afford spending 320+ since im still in school without a job. i wanted to try this lip out since its gonna be basically a free mod.

Cool

It's sitting a little too low to the ground for my taste......watch out for steep drivways & speed bumps.

i bought one.. its actually pretty flexible for fiberglass.. you can also get it reinforced if youre worried about it cracking or something, roads in houston suck as well, but you just gotta know how to get around it.. in my opinion, it would be a waste of time trying to get that thing to fit - youd have to shorten it in the middle and extend the sides to come to the edge of the bumper, and it still wouldnt flow with the body lines

yeah its most likely gonna cost you more to get that extended and painted from a body shop v/s just buying a real lip and getting it painted.

btw yes colorado roads do suck

just remember it is going on a lexus, I wouldn't put anything that makes it look cheaper or more rice. If it is more money for the quality, it is worth it
