Why can i not find an ES300 manual for the life of me? I been checking internet sell sites for them "never found one" i have called every dealer from here too three states away. none have any. any thoughts on how to get ahold of one, caus i wont buy a automatic. been saving for 6 months at a minimum wage job god damnit lol! come on now Im about to say screw it and grab a new Is300 but i personaly love the ES300. was looking for 92-95 so i still have some cash for mods and custom body work. any ideas whould help.
if you ever want to sell just say the word. hmm not sure for my dream car i been saving for way to long for can be an automatic. hmm that sucks lol. damn lexus and there need to make automatics.any other sugestions? hmm Well i got 11 grand to spend any ideas? i whould realy like to not go over that. you may ask why i want a lexus if i dont have the cash to om.. back it up. simply put, i love them. as everyone here probably does. anycase..
Wait a minute...you want to put a 2JZ-GTE into a ES with a six speed? Why would you even attempt to do that? Not really worth doing IMO.
Also, keep in mind that modding cars is VERY expensive and you may want to rethink your starting point with a minimum wage job...It's very admirable that you saved up $11K (!!) but don't bite off more than you can chew...getting your car repo'd sucks!
Honestly, if you want something that's more performance oriented, I would start with a Integra instead. There are a lot of inexpensive mods you can do and the Integra can be made to be VERY quick...with $11K, you should be able to hook a very nice Integra...
Seriously, I think you need to be more realistic with what you want to do with what you have...
If you do want to pursue a Lexus, I would start with the IS300 instead...the ES300 is just not anywhere near a performance car in any respect...
The SC300's came manual... How much do thay usualy go for? i probably can get a stock one with my cash but innsurance may kill me. im gonna go check what it will be today lol. "i got a clean record... not for long sure but hay lol"
I think That an SC300 is probably gonna be my choice. It is not to rare to find a manual, and its still a lexus... a damn good looking one in fact. There was a guy selling one in the forums for 8.5 "a 92 automatic" so chances are if i just dont jump the gun i can get what i want exactly and in the meen time save more cash up for the mods i want.. was looking at some body kits too... the ab-flung is... hellla crazy.
anycase thanx alot guys for the info, and so on. and one more question i know that the ES is suposed to be extreamly reliable. anyone know of the SC and if it fits that same discription?
I have a 92 es300 manual as well -- just had an ACT xtreme clutch put in -- damn it's nice!
I also hit a deer a few weeks ago , and now my entire front end is new!
It took a day or 2 to get used to, since its the xtreme series, but now it feels just like it used to, except you really have to have the clutch to the floor to shift.
