Introduction
Hey everyone,
I just recently picked up a 96 Pearl White/Tan es300. Judging by the short amount of time ive been on this forum, I can tell there is a lot I can learn here.
A couple of quick questions regarding the 96 es300:
One of my fogs are burnt out. What size is the bulb? H3 correct? In my owners manual its listed as blank.
I also have a burnt out bulb in the gauge cluster (behind the speedo). How difficult is that replacement? Bulb size?
The factory CD changer is missing the magazine cartirdge. Is this a 6 cd changer? Where can I purchase a replacement? I want to make sure I am getting the correct cartirdge.
Other than those minor details, I love the way this car drives, nice and smooth. Over the next few days I know ill be using the search button plenty.
TIA.

bling bling
yup i belive they are h3 ..well thats what i use ,,on my 92 to put the bulbs in is a snap i just lied down in front of the car and twist the cover fron the back of the fog bulb ,,not to hard and it will come out attached to the wires ,,just change the buld and swew it back on ,,wlw bling bling not to mention the look pretty cool too ..now for the dash board lights ,,there are two plastic clips on the top part of th cluster when your looking at it from front view ..push the little tab toward the front of the car then slightly pull them down and there will be two phillips screws one in each ,,just unscrew those ,,and gently slide the whole cluster out ,,then unplug the three cables or wire harnest from the back ,,from the rear of the cluster carefully remove remaining screws and lift curcuit board up and wala you will see very very small lights ..lok something like christmas light bulbs they can be purchased at your local aoutozone or R&S Strass,,Pep boys which ever for about 2 dallars in different colors as well if you wanna get funky with it ..they also twist of counter clock wise and wala
instant bling bling,,,its a little work ,,nothing hard all you need is a phillips head screw driver but its better then taking the miliion dallar dealer rought ,,,hope that helps
lemme know how you make out

The part number for the 6-CD cartridge for the 93 ES is 86273-50010.
The price at www.lexus-parts.com is 71.62 plus shipping. The price at www.newlexusparts.com is 58.33, which includes shipping.
You might be able to find it cheaper on E-Bay.

Sometimes, it's not the bulb, but the wire on back of the foglight. (Just a thought, because mine used to go out, but I figured out that it was the wire and I repaired the wires and it was alright again.)
