cd changer problem

i have a 98 es300 and my changer takes in the cds but wont read them..all i says is "err 1" does anyone know how to fix?

Make sure the cd is not upside down in the cartridge. The label should be facing DOWN, not up as in most cd players.

ahahha when i got my car i had the cds in wrong too
and i was so pissed

until i finally decided to read the instructions

Ha Ha Ha you guys didn't know to put the cds in upside down?!?!... Well, I did the same thing so I'm not one to talk...
