I like having the silver finish and not the black centers since it shows the beauty of the rims.

Having black centers makes your rims look small and It takes away from the beauty of an es.

I personally feel an es should stay/look luxurious as the car's body lines suggest that.

Here is the reason why I would go with black wheels w/ a chromed lip. Check out the black '01 Windom below in the front of the pics

I want to try these out on a 97-01 ES (aggressive offset, fender rolling, see what needs to be done)

Let me know what you think. I think the graphite would be a good look as well!

yeah man, I have already been doing the research on what it would take to fit these (since they have that 35et). With the correct sized tires, I think its totally doable. I think these wheels would make the ES look sooo aggressive!!

No, I actually think it is the other way around, EVERYONE has or is getting black rims with polished lip, it is totally played out already.
That is just my own opinion and observation.

Over here in CT (New England), I have yet to see black wheels w/ chrome lip on any luxo ride (Audi, BMW, Lexus, M-Benz, etc.), so to see one anytime soon will make my day
