How to replace your upper dog bone mount for a Lexus ES300/330:
Tools I used for this replacement:
3/8" Ratchet
3/8" Electric Cordless Impact Wrench
3/8" Extension
3/8" 12mm Socket Deep
3/8" 14mm Socket Deep
3/8" 14mm Socket Short
Note:
For the ES300 years 1997-2001 this will not be an exact DIY but it will be very similar.
Factory Part Number: 12363-20020

If you can swing it, installing ARP extended studs onto new rear wheel hub/bearing assemblies is worth doing to install spacers in the safest manner. It took me my trusty $110 Harbor Freight impact gun, a hammer, and the correct ARP studs. In this case, Detroit Axle (manufacturer of the new hubs I installed) utilized stock studs designed for Civics and Integras, so I had to buy ARP's 1007711 kit. I then hammered the studs out of aftermarket 20mm wheel spacers (20-25 is the sweet spot) and installed them, using the stock chrome lug nuts.
PROTIP: Just put the studs through the splined holes, for less play, rather than how I did it in this photograph.
The end result with the 4GS 17x7.5 wheels:

However, this link is 360 pages of all electrical circuits in the lexus. I've never seen such detail for a car. But, this is not useful to my job,
I need that kind of detail for the engine, Teardown and reassembly for head gasket replacement.
Di I just ask on the Mega site? I joined, made an account.
If you have a link handy, send as you did the other one please!
Thanks you,
Bruce

Any suggestions
My name is Chris Mockridge I have 03 Lexus es300. I started getting multiple cylinder misfire coads and car was running rough. It reminded me when I first got the car it did same thing but quickly figured out the previous owner had quick release on positive battery cable. After fixing it it has ran perfectly for a year. Now I started with injector cleaner and it seemed to clear up slightly but still not right. Next I took fuel pump apart replacing fuel filter, and strainer in the tank. Still not right. After that I changed all the spark plugs, and tested coils with ohm meter, then started cleaning electrical connections to alternator. It's super close but still sputters a little, and is throwing cylinder 3 and 4 misfire, or multiple cylinder misfire. Any suggestions? I'm going to start going through every wire to coils now. Thanks for your time.
