Question rear speakers

Newbie here with my first question. Just bought my first Lexus, 95 ES300, very nice one owner car. My rear speakers are inoperable. Wires are connected but no sound. Front speakers work. Any hints, similar problems? Thanks

Did you check the amp side of the wiring?

Try connecting a small battery(1½ volt) to the loudspeaker terminals. I mean, just let the wires touch these terminals intermittently. If you hear a sound coming out of the loudspeaker, they aren't blown! At this point, you'll have to look further.
