Default Bracket racing

I’m looking to buy a is 350 or the 08 Isf and was wondering if anyone has ever bracket races there Lexus. Does anyone have any time slips or experience racing one of these. It will be in auto and hoping that I can find one that vary too much. Is there a tune that would help with consistency? Thanks for your time.

I was wondering about this myself. I’ve been thinking about getting into drag racing and want to be able to get a handle on everything surrounding the world of brackets before I even got started with it. Can you find ways to tune up without taking too much time or money to do it, or is it an expensive endeavor to try and get under control in the first place?

I used to do this with my RX300 in Mexico and ran away with trophies and prize money because my RX300 was so consistent in its times and also I had a reaction time in the .500s, I used to floor it just after I saw the third light.. It is not expensive to do, but you need to race your vehicle a few times at the strip and find out what kind of time your car gets when it is hot as that is what time you set it at down to the tenth of a second.

It was like taking candy from a baby and I walked home with Mexican pesos that were several hundred dollars equivalent each time.

Although this took place more than 10 years ago, I have considered racing again though sadly the 1/4 mile track is like 75 miles away and one nearer to me, less than 10 is only 1/8 mile with no bracket racing.
