Thought some of you might like this. Race 2 is better than race 1

Great race! Not sure if I missed it on the video, but are both cars stock and if not, what are they running?

Both look like they're running anchors for wheels (heavy dubs).

Thanks for sharing.

Those look like stock times... usually high 12's to low 13's is stock... all about traction off the line and shift points though...

That's PBIR, I ran a 13.1 my first try as well. It was my very first time at the track.

Wow much better run on #2. Reaction time is everything. Even in race #1 you could see at the end had there been more roadway the F's torque would have overpowered the M3

given the stats, this was very predictable; on a track with twists, that's where the m3 would shine, but we all know that. However, its always nice to fanboy over a win for a bit

Here's my run... 13.0 on all-season tires, half a tank of gas, full interior. I could easily shave half a second off my time if I did the following things:
- remove spare and interior bits
- get stickier tires and warm them up
- improve reaction time
- show up with 1/4 tank or less

I beat the 2013 335xi next to me... he had me off the line because of AWD but everything after that is history

Looks like you fell asleep at the line on that first run, good second run with much better reaction time and you were able to hook. These two cars are very close indeed and in many situation it becomes drivers race. The race I would like to see is M3 with typical tune, test pipe and exhaust vs F with headers, full exhaust no cats and intake.

I'm not a big drag racer as I love going to road courses. My first and only session drag racing I ran solid 12.8's. That's with crappy yokohama advan tires. I trapped at 112 every time.
