Hi i am wondering just by looking at pictures of the interior how do you tell if it has navigation or not
what i mean is i thought that if it has a screen on the dashboard just above the center of the dash that that mean it had navigation but is this not true ?
was there a option for a dash screen mintor that pops up without the navigation options
i know on auto trader sometimes dealership don't accurately post what has navigation and what doesn't so im specifically look for the screen but apparently i see there are two kinds of controls one has a *** that you tearn to operate and one has a kind of a join stick iwth a wrist rest or something like that
so do both of these have navigation option or is it only one of them that does ?

The one with the mouse/joystick is the one with navigation. The one with the **** is for just the upgraded audio option.

BTW the early 2011-13 CT without Nav had a nice covered tray with a 12v socket.
You can mount and power up a nice Garmin device and cover it when not driving.
Toll transponders also hide out perfectly and can be read even with the cover closed.

i have a issue perosnaly my own issues with having any added items that where not build with the car that will obstruck any view in the windhsileld or my view nothing whatsoever so i wont add anything that did not come with the car
i had a bad accident several years ago and it was because of a simple magelin navigation unit i had in the window
also some states its illegal to have anything int he window and i have the luck of being pulled over twice driving through those states and i just dont wnat the hassle of it.

i see that lexus never relaesed the option for apple car play until 2019 and upgradable on some 2018s
has anyone ever added apply car play option to there 2011-2017 CT ? with either the upgraded screen or the navigation otpion they have ?
