Question Has any CT owners with a 2012 body put the new facelift bumper on?

We have a 2012 CT200h that has clocked over 130k miles and rock solid. But as expected the front bumper has taken it's toll for wear / tear on a daily driver.

Since we need to replace the bumper, just thinking might as well get the new facelift bumper?

Our car is a 2012 F-sport version so would it fit a newer style bumper from a 2015+ model?

If anyone has tried to do this please post photos that would help inspire me

thanks in advance!

Short answer, yes you can replace both front and rear bumpers. Quick search will show that many of us have done this mod.

Youll need the front bumper + grille (old grille won't work)

Not sure of the parts list, but I recently did a similar conversion on my 2016 RX. non-fsport --> f-sport; it was a pretty big overhaul with many parts.

Like other mentions, you'll need to replace both the bumper and grill. Don't forget all the other pieces that goes with that including: Chrome spindle trim, lower left and right trims, fog light covers, under splash guards. I would estimate over 1k for the conversion.

I did the rear conversion on my 2012 CT f-sport special edition to the 2014 f-sport. That was a lot easier as it was the rear bumper, lower spoiler, and plastic trims around reflectors.

After researching, I have yet seen an 1st Gen CT200h bumper to 2nd gen conversion.
