I don't care about lasers bc where I'm driving does not use lasers in the middle of nowhere.

Even if I get stopped it is not a problem for me. I just don't want to keep seeing the same LEO again!!!😋😋😋.

Even if you have laser jammers and you jammed the LEO's laser gun, more than likely he will know and can STILL write you a ticket. You'll then have to take time out (and money if you hire a lawyer) to have your day in court. So the best thing is to not speed.

My original post was just trying to say that even in a CT200h, it has enough "power and speed" to get you in trouble. So the CT200h has enough power to scoot along just fine.

You speak like you have never seen or used laser speed testing equipment. That's why you think the way you think. I have seen and operated them before, matter of fact at a test 2 months ago.

Laser gun is battery operated. One you get hit and it gets jammed you just see no speed on your gun. ---- for mph. You keep pulling the trigger until you get a reading. Meanwhile in the car, it's jamming and you get time to slow down to the posted limit. Then you turn off the system and let Leo get a speed reading. Once they get a speed reading they move on to the next target. There are only 12 states where it is illegal. Leo falsifying a stop is awesome stuff for the news especially when you get to video and audio record it.

It's real neat tech, Google search radar forums and read up. It's pretty cool.

Haha, yes YouTube has it all. I believe you as far as what you said as a laser gun/jamming expert. Expert or not, eventually YOU STILL WILL NOT WIN. It all will catch up with you if you make it a habit to speed.

All the LEOs gotta do is just write you a ticket. No laser gun needed. There are many other methods at the LEO's disposal. You are not guilty as you sign the ticket as you read the fine print. Heck if you refuse to sign, that's ok. The LEO will still hand it to you. Trust me, the LEOs know where to look for your jamming device. Legal or not with your laser jamming device, if you **** off the LEOs, you still get a ticket. Yes, YOU get to waste more time (and money, if you hire a lawyer) as you go to court to explain it all. These judges in small towns just don't and won't "support your jamming device", legal or not. They WILL SUPPORT THE LEOs. The LEO will just say "The subject was going faster than the speed limit and certainly faster than the conditions SAFELY allowed. Plus the subject was passing everyone at a high rate of speed. On top of that the subject was operating a laser jamming device because as soon as I hit him with my laser gun, I couldn't get a lock on his speed initially and I observed the vehicle's front end dived due to hard braking in an attempt to slow down. Then I was able to get a lock on the subject's vehicle speed after the subject slowed down."

Best advice, just DON'T SPEED.

You said "trust me", that's good enough for me. Ok, internet knows best.

LOL, DON'T TAKE MY WORD FOR IT.

Get a speeding ticket and see what happens.

After you get a ticket, you really have two options: either just pay it or contest it (spend more time and money, if you hire a lawyer). And yes, you are not guilty just by the fact you were issued a speeding ticket. But you WILL HAVE deal with it.

Again, best advice:. Just don't speed and you don't need that expensive laser jammer. Besides, technology advances so rapidly that whatever jamming device you got a couple of years ago will be obsolete anyway. It is a cat and mouse game.

Good luck

Wait, now you're saying don't trust you?
I'm so confused with the internet now.

Haha, yes indeed. Internet is very confusing in case you haven't figured it out yet. One will get burned if one believes EVERYTHING out there. So common sense applies.

Wow, i got soooo caught up with school then came back....what a response!!! Not worried about speeding, more worried about just getting up to and staying at highway speeds (75 mph). I think yall have indeed convinced me to err on the side of the CT. More space, more MPGs, cheaper.....sold.....no to find a nice one at a decent price.....

You might want to try those new used car services, like carvana.com, if you don't go CPO. They let you see the actual car's photos, and point out imperfections and issues. They have free delivery to your door plus a 7-day return period to try the car out plus a tiny warranty.
