Someone is living in my car!

Must be cooler in your area now, and they are using it for warmth.
They are known to chew vehicles wiring, and that makes a huge nightmare.
I'd suggest keeping mothballs under your hood, and maybe around other spots you can jam them in under the car.
Maybe do a Google search and see what other have done?

Yes. A red squirrel in the neighbourhood took many chunks out of the hood insulating pad (to insulate its nest, I assume) and also stored some acorns in the engine compartment. Luckily, it didn't take a liking to the wiring.
I've fastened window screening to the hood pad with small screws (I first used upholstery tacks but they tended to fall out). This has deterred him/her from nibbling on the pad. For some reason, he/she has also stopped storing acorns in the engine compartment.
FWIW, I tried putting mothballs around the engine to keep the squirrel away but it didn't work at all.

The first day we moved into our house on the hill, our new neighbor shows us their rat poison traps around the house. They told us we have to put these up or our car will get chewed up. We will know ahead of time when snail shells starting to appear inside the hood.
So Home Depot, black box, green poison pellets. Refill every 2 weeks.
