2012 CT200H - My Build (San Diego, CA)
Hello Everyone,
I just wanted to share my build with the forum. Knowledge is power and if I can help or share my trial and experience with my build (to avoid mistakes), then I've contributed something to this great forum. Whoever the admin/sponsors are, thank you for your effort and your help.
2012 CT200H | Nebula Gray Pearl | Caramel Interior
HID: Kensun 6K Plug & Play (I would recommend 5K)
LED: 8-pieces (cost < than $28)
Wheels: 18" CCW Classics
Suspension: BC Coilovers with Swift Springs and Exotic Air Cups (Installed: 01/26)
Daily Driven: Yes
Current Miles: 6,138
Farthest Trip (on these stretched tires + CCW's): from San Diego to San Ramon (447 miles one way) <-- Had to include this
Future Mods: Let's just say I am the owner of this Matrix (http://amsoilupdate.blogspot.com/201...rst-place.html)
Special Thanks to: Solo at Exotic Air Cups Suspension (if you need help with something and want it done properly, this is your guy!) I traveled from San Diego to San Ramon just so that we can work together on this project.
The specs on the suspension are as follows:
1. BC Struts + Strut Body (Regular Setup) || OPTION: You have the option to request the aggressive fitment when ordering your BC Coilovers. Whether or not it was mentioned in the forum yet...YOU DO HAVE THE OPTION!!! Remember that! The specs of the BC springs that came with the regular setup is 62.220.005 (front) <-- 62mm diameter | 220mm length | 005kg (specs can be found on: http://www.bcracing-na.com/). Aggressive comes with 20mm shorter shock body. 20mm might not be a lot but it depends on what you're trying to do.
2. Swift Springs - 065.154.060 <-- 65mm diameter | 154mm length or 6" | 060 or 6kg (http://www.swiftsprings.net/)
3. Exotic Air Lifters - 2.5-3" lift with the above swift setup (http://exoticair.com/)
IMPORTANT NOTE: DO NOT USE 6" 4kg (065.154.040) Swift springs with this setup for the CT200H. I have not tried 6" 5kg but I know for sure that 6" 6kg works. Fine tuning (just like EVERY SUSPENSION) is a must to achieve the best ride quality possible with this setup.
The specs on the wheels:
CCW Classics (This info came from my invoice):
FRONT: 18X9.5 BS 6.75 | FULLY POLISHED | CLASSIC STREET // 1.5" LIP | LUGWELL DIA: 1.25 | REG SHIFT: NO | PAD SIZE: SM | PTR: 2.00 | PCD: 5X100 | CB: 54.1
REAR: 18X10 BS 6.50 | FULLY CLASSIC STREET // 3" LIP | LUGWELL DIA: 1.25 | REG SHIFT: YES | PAD SIZE: SM | PTR: 1.25 | PCD: 5X100 | CB: 54.1
The specs of tires:
FRONT: Hankook Ventus 215/40/18
REAR: Hankook Ventus 225/40/18
IMPORTANT NOTE: Rear fenders were "moved" 10mm out from OEM (took it to a body shop)...just enough to clear the offset.
Here's the preliminary results:

Yes, these are special order. They were really nice at CCW...great customer service. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. These have been one of my favorite wheels for a while.

Yes, this guy does not sleep until he gets the desired results to the customer's satisfaction.
One of my favorite wheels! Wish they had 19" for my other car.
Thank you!
Yes, I posted the specs.
SD is my hood. Another CT200H-owner RN?
Thank you! I'm loving the SC300!

I can find out what my offsets are for the benefit of the other CT200H owners buying custom made wheels :-)

(Work emotion Kiwami deep concave face)
I will post the results for other owners to see what's up!
Btw with the Backspacing info and width one can figure out offsets. Just convert to mm first then go from there.
Center of 9.5" wheel is 4.75 or 120.65mm. Backspace is from inner edge of wheel to the mounting pad. 6.75" or 171.45mm
