HID Question
Hello guys,
What is the recommended HID kit available for the CT200h? After doing brief research, it appears as though the Morimoto's are the most reputable. I was looking at the vendor section and it seems like the Xenondepot and Volt kit's are pretty popular as well. I would like to stay away from the cheaper brands that can burn out. Can anyone recommend a kit and the ease of installing?
Thank you!

The installation is the same for all kits (more or less,) it is very easy.
I previously had run through 2 Kensun kits, both complete garbage.
I have just installed a Morimoto kit, no issues at all so far, even in the winter.
I am very happy with it, and would strongly recommend it.
I don't have any experience with the Xenondepot kits, but I've heard very good things about them as well.

I just installed the kbcarstuff.com kit and it was easy as pie to install and they look great. Took all of 20 minutes. Company is easy to get ahold of for any questions too.

2nd on the xenon depot / kbcarstuff, support our sponsor, i've bought many kits from them and never had an issue
in the case of the CT200h, got the kit with the philips bulbs in 4300k, matches the LED DRL perfectly.
in the past, I've always exclusively used Philips kits, but those are too hard to come by not to mention it used to cost $500 a kit, this is a nice alternative.

I always recommend Morimoto 3five kits to everyone who wants a quality HID kit. If you can afford a retrofit, that's the best route. Check out my sig to see how mine came out. We also have vendors on CL that offer kits and it looks like you've already found them.

Hey guys. I just got a 14 CT F-Sport, after having three GS's it's a big change. I was looking at HIDs also. I have used Xenondept/KBCarstuffs extreme for my 99 GS in the past and was happy with it. Now with the CT the battery is in the back and I'm not sure about a power source other then the factory harness with the Volt unit. Any opinions?
Is the volt too lug for the factory wiring? Or has anyone found a good battery feed at the frontoif the car for the extreme kit?
Thanks
