Hill Assist Light Won't Go Off
I have a 2011 CT200H, great car in my opinion. Problem is I had to disconnect the 12V battery to replace the clock spring and after reconnecting the battery the hill assist light will not go off. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I have attempted to park on a hill and go through the process normally of setting it, but still the light will not go off after driving. I am concerned that there may some possible damage to some component/circuit if I cannot get it to go off. I am 100 miles from a dealer so do not want to have to take it in for this.

I'd try disconnecting the aux battery for another 30 mins and seeing if it goes away. If not, try to pull some codes. If I'm not mistaken, the Hill Assist, Vehicle Stability and Traction Control all use the same light, so there may be something else at play here.
