Route controls

When I use maps and my destination is reached, I find it annoying that it then tries to recalculate a route back to the same place. I would expect it to switch off route guidance when I reach my destination. Any tips?
I drive in the UK.

It sounds like an option you have turned on. Did you check your navigation settings to see if it's there and can disable it?

Mine announces that I have reached my destination and that "Route guidance is now turned off"
