I was just given in-channel window guards for my 2012 CT200H as a gift, however, after I installed them, the window jam protection thinks they're an obstruction, and refuses to let the windows stay rolled up. Is there any way to disable the jam protection? I'd rather not have to return a birthday gift.

 

Go slow on the window when your going up. You will need to leave the windows all the way up for awhile to let the window visor set in the sun.

 

My thanks, this helped. For any future owners, it also helped when I installed window guards with the windows only down and inch or two, so that the window was already touching the guard before any attempts to roll them up.
