It's just an aftermarket button commonly found on ebay or amazon. they make them for the standard size all toyotas and lexuses use. probably the most common car people buy these buttons for are toyota trucks cause people like to mod them. light bars, radios, winches and such.
I thought i updated this thread. anyway turns out the backup camera mod i did won't work as intended. it activates the reverse lights. i'd need to install a bunch of relays for this to work. too complicated. i want to work on another camera solution using a dedicated screen. maybe for the front. this is just for fun though cause i like to create cool/fun/uncommon mods. serves no real useful purpose
I wish I could figure out a way to manually turn the camera on in my Land Cruiser, it would be super helpful when towing a trailer. I've looked at the wiring diagrams and it's too complicated, I'm afraid of frying something in the head unit on the dash.
Have you looked into the beatsonic module for the front camera? I'm sure it'd only require minor modifications to make it work with the reverse camera. http://www.beatsonicusa.com/cs5ep.html
Actually, it looks like it lets you switch between the reverse and the front camera already.
I just ordered one along with the iPhone mirroring kit, but my 2014 has nav. The website seems to denote if factory navigation is required or not, which leads me to assume it might work on Non-Nav models too but I would reach out to BeatSonic to find out.
I'd be more interested if i had a nav screen. The small LCD in the mirror won't justify the cost of this but cool none theless. looking forward to reading your install notes.
Exactly 3 full quarts drained out of the drain plug. I added 3 1/3 quarts back. Probably due to spillage. When I opened the fill plug, a little did dribble out. The fluid was murkier than expected at 43,430 miles. 2015 F Sport.
How much power are you running with your audio system? I’ve seen a lot of posts about not exceeding 350 watts RMS or 30A. Also, are the door speakers 6.5” or 6x9?
I’m looking to upgrade my audio system in my ‘15 CT and haven’t seen much of a straight answer in terms of how much power you can practically run on the electrical system.

Thanks. I talked to my local audio shop a while back about their installs in a CT and they said they used 6.5s in the front and back. I’m guessing they used an adapter to fit the 6.5s up front.
