Hi all,

I just bought a used Lexus CT 200h F sport and was looking to update the map. I bought an SD Card from eBay and tried putting the card into the slot in my card and got a "Checking Data" screen. I left it for about 15 minutes and nothing happened. Just stuck on that screen. The number of the SD Card/map I got is 86271-78011, which is supposed to be the 2015 US/Canada map. The listing had my car as a compatible car.

Does anyone know if there's a trick to this, or did I buy a bunk card? I feel like the card is legit as others are selling the same thing.

not sure how much one digit matters but according to the official lexus nav website, the PN doesn't match

and well, buying stuff on ebay is a bit risky on this type of things

 

Yeah, I noticed that, too...though only after I bought it. All the other listings for that same card all say that the SD cards are available with the 2014 CTs. Just hoping the problem is user error and not the actual card itself!

 

if you have followed the installation guide on the site and it still doesn't work, I would contact the seller and said the SD card might be corrupted and ask for an exchange, that seems fair

I would be interested in hearing how this turns out. I was under the impression that Lexus had to do the update, but that may have been changed. I hope so!
