My service advisor told me the OEM battery is out of the 4 yr/50k basic factory warranty but since he's my good friend, he cut me a break on the invoice for the work. The normal charge is around $240 (labor, parts and taxes included) but I spent less than a Benjamin for the whole job. Also from what I have read in other websites, brand new Lexus batteries purchased from a Lexus dealer are backed by a 2-year free replacement warranty (and pro-rated for some time afterwards) but I'll have to confirm the info with the dealer or Lexus.
Oh and just FYI for anyone else, our CT200h has an 8 year / 100,000 mile warranty (from the in-service date) which covers hybrid-related components like the hybrid battery, control module and inverter with converter. Remember that this does NOT include the auxiliary 12V stock battery. All the warranty info can be found here: http://www.lexus.com/warranty/.
