^^^^Did they replace your battery under warranty (if it was still within the time limit)? Now it has me thinking that I should replace my 12V battery as well...

My service advisor told me the OEM battery is out of the 4 yr/50k basic factory warranty but since he's my good friend, he cut me a break on the invoice for the work. The normal charge is around $240 (labor, parts and taxes included) but I spent less than a Benjamin for the whole job. Also from what I have read in other websites, brand new Lexus batteries purchased from a Lexus dealer are backed by a 2-year free replacement warranty (and pro-rated for some time afterwards) but I'll have to confirm the info with the dealer or Lexus.

Oh and just FYI for anyone else, our CT200h has an 8 year / 100,000 mile warranty (from the in-service date) which covers hybrid-related components like the hybrid battery, control module and inverter with converter.
