Amazing, I just look and check what the indicator says when it shows "R" I am going to go in reverse. When it says "D" or "B", I am going forward. I thought beeping was only "NEEDED" for commericial trucks and forklifts, Guess I was wrong.

Maybe you all should consider the new Mercedes, PRE-SAFE, ATTENTION ASSIST, DISTRONIC ASSIST Active blind spot assist, active lane keep assist.
... I am sure you have Seen the TV commercials my Mercedes saved my life ...

I will be on the watch-out for you wild reverse drivers and listen for your beeping

Took it to the dealership this past weekend and it took them less than 10min to disable it (only one initial beep now).

It's such a relief not hearing that constant beeping noise. Opposite of BgLftyinaz and jimmyc13, whenever I would hear it, it would want to make me hurry up and pull the car out so it would stop. Now I can take my time and relax while reversing out. Much better.

I like this thread. It makes me smile,LOL. Beeps , don't even notice it. Heck, I'd like the beeps to be heard outside for all those folks who refuse to pay attention while walking in parking lots.

They won't charge you anything. I am getting my back-up beep and the seat belt buzzer disabled when my tags come in.

Wish my RX had that noise. haha
Sorry ... I literally laughed out loud when reading this!

Sometimes when you are in a crowded parking lot you wait to back out in reverse and that sound just goes and goes
The easy way to get rid of the god-awful sound?

Get a divorce.

It won't be cheap though.

Yes much better now and yes it was no cost I can now go in reverse without having to tap my foot and hand to the beat of the the reverse buzzer.

Now if I could just resolve my HID misfire issue
