Yes. It shares the 1.8 4 cylinder hybrid powertrain with the Prius. Thus, same 134 hp.

Took the car for a test drive while I got my GX serviced... I wasn't expecting much looking at the specs, but to my surprise it's not the dog I thought it would be. Decent pickup, even in normal mode, sport really improved performance. The interior is a bit small and I'm not a fan of the plastic wall where you are forced to rest your right arm. Interior fit in finish is up to Lexus standards for sure. All in all, I would have like to see Lexus sacrifice a few MPG to make the interior a bit roomier including the area behind the back seat.

Really? I thought my ears were deceiving me. I thought it sounded pretty good for what was essentially a non-branded audio system but there was no way it was better than the ML systems that Lexus offers on their other vehicles so I was bummed.

Huh. I haven't heard the stock audio, as the ones that I demo'ed and that I bought had premium. Once I tweaked the settings and bumped up the bass and treble up it sounded great to me. I'm not an audiophile, but I didn't notice an appreciable difference between the ML in my other car. I will say, that I have to have the volume quite a bit higher to appreciate the sound quality. It's not as crisp in the quieter ranges.

In time, we'll see some done up nicely. If I'd had the funds, I'll be doing one up right now. The bodylines are a mix of many dope looking hot hatches. Picture one with a great stance on some deep dish wheels? Or some concave like wheels on them? I'd say these hatches would look pretty nice. I have a 07 Prius, and don't think the body lines would look as hard as a CT done up.

Actually I was told by the sales rep helping me that it was equivalent to close to 180 hp.

Sales reps more often than not do not have their facts and figure straight.

He was probably thinking about the output on the HS, which has 187 HP

One told me that the leather seats were cooled as well as heated. I don't see cooled seats listed anywhere on the specsheet.

134hp... it is same as in every other mode, just reacts a lot faster to the input... like PWR mode in other lexus vehicles.

Man I just got back from test driving one too, and last week a prius. It was a night and day difference. The lexus felt like a car handled great and the accel was normal. I cant say the same for the prius. Im currently weighing the pros and cons of ownership. Tough decision.
