Cruise control for 2017 CT
Dear Club!
I need help to add cruise control to a lexus CT. I purchased the maneuver and the cap on the internet, reinforcing many other threads on the forums, and supposedly only needed to do these two things. The so-called PLUG&PLAY. Unfortunately there was PLUG and there is no PLAY. The maneuver buttons do not work, the car does not respond. My question is what can I still do on my own? Have I been unlucky and the manoeuvre that came may be defective, or in the 2017 post-lift (prod 10.2023) there are no cables located behind the plug? Is it necessary to add some more fuse?

My guess is that you'd need to convince a dealer to reflash the ECU with a build that supports cruise control functionality. That, or there may be a dealer-only parameter to enable cruise that has to be toggled. I ran into this when I added factory cruise to a 2010 Mazda that I used to own. Dealer had to turn the function on for it to work.
