Hello everyone.

A few weeks ago a very annoying noise/cricket appeared on the front panel of the vehicle. Its sound is random, depending on the number of potholes on the road and also on temperature differences. Sometimes it doesn't sound at all, other times it is continuous and annoying. I did a lot of research, and in many places on the internet practically all CT users have declared it, but no one has been able to solve it (not even the dealer).

I have not been able to record directly from my vehicle, but here I found a video from another user where the noise appears, which is obviously the same one that appears to me, according to what I have commented:
It would be interesting to know if anyone has had any experience with this issue.

also interested in knowing cause ive been noticing more and more rattles in my 2015. hoping its just the CDs I've thrown in the car for playing randomly

 

I'm not sure of its origin, at first it gave me the impression that it was coming from the plastics near the steering wheel and the instrument panel, but I also hear it from the air vents. Earlier today for example, with an ambient temperature of 33°C without using the A/C it didn't sound at all, but in the afternoon when I went to pick up my children from school and turned on the A/C it started to sound just like in the video.

Hello everyone. This noise has been reported by several drivers (including me), without reaching any solution. I continue to struggle with it and evaluate alternatives to eliminate it. At first you can see that it is coming from the dashboard and the center console, at least I hear it there. I will continue trying to eliminate it, if I have news I will report it. Greetings.

I have a ticking sound from dash when recirculation is on, I traced it to the fan under the cabin filter.
