Default Is this 2011 worth buying?

I am wondering what your thoughts are on this car for sale. I do know it is a certified one owner. Thanks for any feedback

I wouldn't think that electric batteries and Alaskan cold would be a good mix. At that price though, that does seem like a steal. It's quite low. So I'd be prepared for a big expense like head gasket/engine replacement and hybrid battery replacement. But you can test those things before buying. Also check for rust with that age and mileage.

That is what I was thinking too. Maybe get the local Lexus dealer to do a PPI? Cost?

If you can have the dealer guarantee there is no coolant leak or major oil consumption, may be a decent buy.

On cold starts (morning) or when from standstill, there is no excessive engine knock or vibration, maybe there isn't a head gasket issue. Probably good to have it checked out but not sure about the cost.

Mine is '12 bought from a friend in early 2020 with about 130k miles then and don't have those issues but it's not as cold here in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Do a PPI before assuming anything
